The first motivation and formation of picture, is attract audience and provide the meaning and
feeling of satisfaction, according the characteristics of form and color in the stage. In addition
contrast, composition and homogeneity of shapes and colors in color or black and white films
with specific tonality, can be used in special characteristics picture with perception of
psychological effects of colors. Choosing the correct color for characteristics of subjects is
influenced completely. This study attempts to influence the color of the image according to the
type of television programs. The aim of research is analytical and descriptive method. Data were
collected by the library and field research method by preparing is the questionnaire. The number
of sample is 200 with 5% error, using formula calculated by Cochran. The Scope of the study
population is also audience television programs in Tehran. This research shows that the colors in
the picture as a strong element, it is most efficient in terms of television audience.
